The MIG 1 B is mainly used in ship, bridge and locomotive construction, as well as in the steel and petrochemical industries. Automatic welding with tractor improves the quality of the welds and virtually eliminates defective seams. Thanks to the limit switches on both sides of the MIG 1 B, the tractor stops automatically when it reaches the end of the workpiece or encounters an obstacle on the side. This means that several tractors can easily be operated simultaneously by just one person.
The MIG 1B is available with or without an oscillator.
